An uneasy truce between demons and humans had been forged, and for the first time humans and demons had some sort of understanding. Even though an uneasy peace had been set, it did not prevent fighting. The Sengoku era was filled with fighting, the many daimyo's warring over land and competing for dominance. The aid of demons was either bought or earned, and the strange and extraordinary powers the demons possessed aided certain clans against one another. And of course, there was the demons own clans to think of. The taiyoukai Sugumi and Ryuukususei have been fighting for ages, neither giving nor relenting in their fight.
Of course, humans tried to stay out of the demons affairs, knowing that the fighting would be far beyond their own powers save a select few. It was becoming evident to the humans that the taiyoukai held far too much power however, and plots of deceit arose as humans began to try and take back what they believed was rightfully theirs.
The humans however, were not alone in their deceit. Demons too had felt that humans had had their turn in the limelight and their own insidious plots had begun to form.
With the plots of deception in place, the peace would not last. War was imminent, and all sides are preparing. The sides have been chosen and the plots are in place. For once, a war is not to be fought because of good or evil, right and wrong, but rather because of greed.
Rumors are also spreading of a jewel that had just been created... one that would grant the wish of any demon that was able to acquire the jewel. This was only a rumor, but the mere idea of such power had many demons squirming in their seats, and humans quaking in fear. People had begun to set out to find this jewel, whether to try and obtain its power or keep it from being misused. With a war on the verge of erupting, such an item would be immenseness useful to anyone who could attain it.
Demons, humans, and the half of these two breeds flock here to these lands of both peace and battle. But they are not alone here, because many other monsters dwell here as well, such as summonses, dark angels, and even the monstrous dragons. in the southern lands lies the castle of the demon lord, Sesshoumaru where he dwells with a young human girl named Rin. Within the castle walls lie a garden, and a lush little creek. But, another dwells in these lands as well. A dark angel by the name of Elowyn, who resides in a rumored haunted temple.
In the Northern lands however, only one demon rules. Naraku, a powerful, treacherous demon dictates these eerie, foreboding lands, which contains the Dark Forest, Stone ruins, and the mysterious Walls of Babylon. These lands of danger are protected by a demonic barrier, which only the strongest of Miko’s may break.
The Western region is on the opposition however. They are of natural wonder and beauty, and in these lands live the wolf tribe, led by Kouga, a headstrong, rather touchy demon. The Forbidden Forest, the Voyage Pass, and the Grove of Memlock, a powerful sorceress of light said to still live today, reside in these lands.
To the East, lies a simple land, ruled by a simple, young hanyou called InuYasha. The young, headstrong half demon is in a sense, much like Kouga, and they have both taken a liking to the same, young human girl from the future Japan, Kagome. The village of Kaede, the sacred forest, and the sacred tree all have their own stories to tell, so search for their messages long and hard, for all are solemn, peaceful lands.
This is a warning, a tale to be learned,
A presence of old, a death unearned,
There is a man, hair dark as night,
With colored eyes of red sight,
He terrorizes, he kills,
In search of thrills,
Be wary of King Decimus, lord of night,
Not with him, you should pick a fight,
Now listen to this tale of fright,
And from his eyes, stay out of sight.
A dark and night, when the pale moon shone high within the dark skies, unmarred by the dark clouds that surrounded it, one of the dead was born unto our world, a vampire of death. When the man stepped within the town, his black wings unfolded and the dark elements a followed him. His pitch black hair blended with the night as his scarlet eyes smiled evil malevolent dangers. Before the hour was over, the town was destroyed and the inhabitants dead. For centuries the man haunted the Middle Earth until one day, the queen of the very dragons herself stepped forth, matching his powers. For many years the two battled, their two species falling into mass chaos and battle. Finally, they came to a treaty and banished each other to different sides of the Middle Earth. To this day, the queen of dragons is rarely seen, hidden in the Outlands while King Decimus terrorizes the South. Rumor has it, that King Decimus, Keeper of Elements, has a son who lives somewhere within those lands, but it was never proved. Beware of the dangerous Lord Decimus and be wary of the powerful Queen Scarla.
Now that you know the lands, you can become either a follower of peace…or death?
Ponder this great decision, and choose your own path in these lands of darkness and light. Only you can dictate your future, so choose well, friend, or you will be forever lost in the lands of nothing...So, the question is...are you ready to go?
